Background info: 

We put a lot of thought into our coffee offering and often question whether they meet the full spectrum of our customers' flavour preferences. We know that there are those that enjoy something light and fruity and others that want more of a robust experience  while still maintaining quality and good sweetness.

For this reason, we decided to find a single-origin that could deliver the latter. This is the perfect option for espresso-based drinks to achieve bolder flavours in the cup.

Edenilson Carvalho owner of Mae de Providencia has been at the forefront for Brazilian coffees under Exporters SMC, having won first place in 2019 and then coming eighth place in 2020 at the Cooxupe and SMC specialty coffee award ceremony. Our friends at Marunic have also visited the farm several times and have built a relationship with the team.
